It is the responsibility of the parents to purchase school uniforms from Sir Walter Uniform Company.
Young Ladies
- Navy uniform skirts for daily classes. (No straight skirts)
- Red uniform culottes for Sports, PE (7th -9th), or Field Trips
- Solid light blue short-sleeved polo shirt with collar and LCHS embroidery
- White oxford shirt/white turtleneck pullover with LCHS embroidery
- Skirts and culottes are expected to be moderate in length - covering at least the middle of the knee while
standing or sitting
- Blouses/shirts must be buttoned, except for the top button at all times and always tucked into skirt/culottes
- Proper undergarments must be worn. A plain white tank t-top may be worn under white oxfords or white
pullovers for modesty
- White socks or tan/nude hose must be worn at all times
- Students are not to mark or write on their own or another student's clothing
- Shoes are as follows:
- Dress shoes in black or navy
- White tennis shoes (blue or black designs allowed), no high tops.
- Shoes with laces must be properly laced and tied. No extreme colors will be allowed
- No sandals, platform soles, roller blade shoes, sneakers with steel plates, boots, or clogs; toes must be
enclosed
- Jewelry may be worn in moderation - one necklace, one bracelet/watch per arm, one ring per hand and one pair
of earrings (only one earring in the bottom of each ear lobe and dangling not more than 1/2 half inch below ear lobe)
- Make-up and nail polish must be moderate (pastel, light reds or natural colors only), no blue, black, purple,
yellow, green, dark reds, etc.
- No glitter on the face or in the hair
Chapel Dress (Fridays)
Young ladies are expected to wear a navy blue skirts, white oxford LCHS shirt, tan/nude hose, and black or
navy dress shoes on chapel days.

Young Men
- Navy uniform pants (not faded or light blue) for daily classes. No dockers or baggy styles are accepted.
Pants must be worn at the waist
- Solid light blue short-sleeved polo shirt with collar and LCHS embroidery
- White oxford shirt/white turtleneck pullover with LCHS embroidery
- Shirts must be buttoned, except for the top button and always tucked into pants
- T-shirts worn under uniform shirts must be white ONLY
- Students are not to mark or write on their own or another student's clothing
- Black belt is required with uniform pants. Large belt buckles will not be allowed
- Socks must be worn at all times
- Shoes for young men includes:
- Dress shoes in black on chapel days
- White, black of navy gym shoes - blue, black or white designs
- No sandals, roller blade shoes, sneakers with steel plates in soles, or boots allowed
- Shoes with laces must be properly laced and tied at all times. No oversized laces or extreme colors
- Only one watch and/or ring may be worn by young men
- No necklaces, earrings, or bracelet (except for medical ID bracelet) may be worn by young men
- Hair must be neatly cut with tapered sides and back
- No "punk" or "faddish" haircuts are permitted including line cuts, shaved portions, or "bowl" cuts.
Dying or bleaching of hair is not permitted
Chapel Dress
Young men are expected to wear a white oxford LCHS shirt, navy pants, navy tie, black belt, and black dress
shoes on chapel days. Only white under shirts are to be worn under chapel shirt.

Outer Garments
Sweatshirts and sweaters worn over the uniform shirts my be navy,white, red, or gray in color
with no designs or logos other than our Landmark logo. Outer garments that are made of sweatshirt type material, whether
they zip up or not, are considered sweatshirts and must conform to this policy. Jackets and coats must be taken off
and hung up on hooks or over the back of the chair. Sweaters or sweatshirts may be worn over uniform shirts inside the
classroom. They may not be extra long or sloppy in appearance. Long sleeved shirts may not be worn underneath
the uniform shirts. Hoods on all outer garments will ONLY be allowed to be worn to and from school. They are not
to be worn (on the head) during school hours.
Non-uniform shirts, flannel shirts, flannel jackets, or over sized coats are not permitted to
be worn.
Hats, caps or other head coverings may be worn to and from school only. They must be put
away in the students' book bag or hung on the book bag rack per teacher's instructions. |
