Preschool and KindergartenPreschool & Kindergarten

L.C.E.S. offers a full-day preschool program. Students must be three by September 1st to enroll in N3 and four by September 1st to enroll in K4. Our preschool program addresses both the socialization and readiness skills children need to develop before entering a formal education program. These skills are taught through the use of themed activities on a variety of topics. Academics are also a vital part of the preschool program. Children are taught Bible stories and will begin to memorize verses from the Bible. Basic instruction in phonics, numbers, and language development is included in our preschool. By the end of K4, our students are reading!

We also offer a full-day kindergarten program. Students must be five by September 1st to enroll in K5. Students will continue with phonics instruction. Reading skills are taught in small groups. Bible is taught each day and is integrated throughout other subjects. Math, science, language, and social studies instruction are also part of the academic program. Instruction is also given in music and art. A variety of field trips and activities round out our kindergarten program.

Elementary School - Grades 1 through 5Elementary

The Elementary School consists of grades 1 through 5. Throughout the Elementary School, primary emphasis is placed on what are commonly called the "basics of traditional education." Bible teaching and character training are an integral part of each day. Our students are exposed to America's Christian heritage and the purpose for founding this nation. Art, music, computers, and physical education complete a well-rounded program.

L.C.E.S. offers an elementary school program for grades 1 through 6. All new students are required to take an entrance test to determine their academic background. Students will hear the word of God in weekly chapel programs and daily Bible classes. The elementary school offers a strong academic program of studies in reading, math, language, science, and social studies. Enrichment instruction is offered to elementary students through classes in physical education, general music, music theory, library, computer literacy, and art.

The Middle School consists of grades 6 through 8. The High School consists of grades 9 through 12. In its effort to give the best possible preparation for later life and college, Landmark Christian School confines the curriculum to strong academic courses. Excellent classroom atmosphere and individual attention, combined with proper study habits are an integral part of this program. Competitive sports, art, activities, academics, computers, music and Bible add vitality to a busy and happy school life. A weekly chapel program is organized under the direction of the Administrator and the church youth director. Its purpose is both evangelism and edification of the church body. Group singing, special music, and fine preaching are the important components of this ministry.
